The build is quick and straightforward, exactly what you want at this scale. You get a mini spaceship with that unmistakable Classic Space vibe, simple but instantly recognizable, and a mini rover so you can set up a full little scene without needing anything else. You’re not buying this for complexity, you’re buying it for the vibe.
The best part is that even though it’s small, it works on multiple levels, it’s fun to play with, it photographs well, and it looks great on display next to anything Space, from MOCs to bigger sets like the Saturn V. It’s the kind of pocket-sized pack that adds life to a shelf.
Minifigure review
This is where the gold is. You get 4 minifigures, Benny (blue), Kenny (yellow), Lenny (white), and Jenny (pink), all in the Classic Space style with the chest logo. It’s a perfect lineup because you get color variety and an instant “crew” right out of the box.
Benny is still the obvious star, but the real value is the group. Getting four different astronauts in a set this small is rare, and that makes it a fantastic collector pack and a great option for army building.

70841 Benny Space Squad is the definition of “small but mighty”, yes, the build is simple, but the minifigures are excellent, the nostalgia factor is huge, and the usefulness for Space fans is real. If you find it at a good price, it’s always worth it, because the value is in the minifigs and the impact they add to your collection, not the piece count.
