About
The build splits between the TV and the three vignettes. The open back lets you slide scenes in and out easily, essentially a picture frame shaped like a TV. The feet are stylised and sit close together, so the model can feel a bit wobbly if nudged. The scenes land the essentials with minimal parts, the Disney castle and star arc, Andy’s room with sky and clouds, a micro Lenny and the Pixar ball in the background, and Pride Rock with young Simba. Each vignette sits on a 12 x 8 plate, encouraging custom inserts. On a shelf it works well as a desk piece and as a backdrop for photos.
Minifigure review
You get two characters to bring the scenes to life, Woody as a minifigure with the familiar decoration and young Simba as a character element. No exclusives, but for a GWP they add value and let you play or display right away.
Box design
A compact box highlights the TV and all three scenes, with additional images on the back. Classic GWP format, sized to protect the antenna and the curved panels without taking much space.
Instruction manual
The manual is clear and modular, TV first, then three vignettes. Short steps, steady pace, and guidance on how to swap and reposition scenes without dismantling the frame.
Stickers
A small sticker sheet provides scene titles, the Disney logo, and the Pixar ball. Placement is on tiles and flat surfaces, easy to align with tweezers. They boost thematic clarity, though the Pixar ball being a sticker is the most noticeable compromise. You can skip some if you prefer a cleaner look.
So…

As a GWP, Classic Animation Scenes nails the concept, the execution, and the customisation potential. The TV could be steadier on its feet and the sticker Pixar ball will divide opinion, but overall it delivers nostalgia, solid display value, and good bang for the threshold.
