About
The focus is Galactus: a simple internal frame with enough articulation at shoulders, elbows, hips and head to strike expressive poses, a clear support for Human Torch flight scenes, and attachment points to stage the heroes around him. The silhouette works and reads as the character instantly, although some angles expose the ball joints and the back could use more finishing. Reviewers generally find the figure fun and stable for the size, but note that the head and feet proportions could be better and that the price, relative to the part count, sits at the comfortable limit.
Minifigure review
You get four minifigures: Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and The Thing. It is the team’s first physical appearance, which matters, but the execution is conservative: very similar torso designs across the four, few unique elements to convey powers, and a stretch-leg gag for Reed that works more as a joke than a display part. The alignment with the “First Steps” film is clear, yet the community points to missed opportunities for translucent effects, bespoke moulds and stronger differentiation.
Box design
Branding follows the movie style, with a heroic-angle render of Galactus, the four minifigures along the bottom strip, and a callout that this is the Fantastic Four’s first LEGO set. It is a mid-width box that protects subassemblies well and makes it clear the star is the articulated figure, not a diorama.
Instruction manual
The set includes one manual, clear steps and a parts split across four bags, paced so you “reveal” each Fantastic Four member as you build. A LEGO Builder digital version is available for zoom and model rotation while you position substructures and stickers.
Stickers
There is a sizable sticker sheet for torso, waist and helmet detailing on Galactus. Most placements are on broad, curved surfaces, so careful alignment with tweezers is needed. This is where much of the criticism lands: the quantity and visual impact if placement is off. In short, the stickers do the job, but many fans would have preferred more printed parts on such an iconic villain.
So…

As a starter for the Fantastic Four in LEGO, 76316 delivers the essentials, a poseable Galactus, four popular heroes, €59,99 RRP. For AFOLs, the minifigures feel basic and stickers on Galactus dull the shine, for film fans or kids who want instant action, the set works well and has good shelf presence for its size. If you want more elaborate minifigures or fewer stickers, wait for discounts and see what follows, if you want the team’s debut and a classic villain ready to pose, this set does the job.
