About
This set hits that rare sweet spot where you look at it and you’re instantly back in the pilot episode. The façade, the roof shaping, the mix of wood-and-stone textures, the way the shop reads on a shelf, it all screams classic NINJAGO. Then you start building and you understand why it’s 1,259 pieces. It’s not a tall building, but it’s a dense one, packed with techniques, layering, and small design choices that make it feel like a real place with history, not just a pretty model.
The interior is where it becomes obvious this was made for fans. You get a clear split between the “home” side and the forge side, and it’s full of accessories and little touches that pull you straight into the world. It doesn’t feel like “a nice building”, it feels like a stage, you immediately want to grab the minifigs and start recreating moments.
And then there’s the fan service, but the good kind. Hidden details, nods that long-time fans will spot, and little features you can ignore if you want a clean display, but that are there to make you smile when you discover them. This set was made with care, full stop.

Minifigure review
This is the part where it’s almost unfair, the lineup is just too good. You get Ray and Maya, which is huge for lore fans, and they belong here because this is literally the origin point. You get Nya, you get Master Wu, and you get Blacksmith Kai, which just feels perfectly right in this setting. And then you have the anniversary extra, the collectible Elemental Master of Earth on a display stand, not necessary for the shop to work, but it makes it crystal clear that this is a commemorative collector-focused set. It’s the kind of bonus that makes the whole thing feel even more special if you’ve followed the theme for years.

So…

As a NINJAGO fan, this is an easy yes. It’s not just another build, it’s a symbol, it’s the start of everything in LEGO form. It’s the kind of set you build slowly, and when you’re done you just sit there thinking, finally. The price might feel high for a one-story building, but the build is dense, the detail level is strong, the minifigs are excellent, and the nostalgia here doesn’t feel cheap or forced, it feels earned. This is the kind of set that’s staying on the shelf for a long time.
