About the

set

The 10362 French Café unfolds over nine numbered bags and takes about three hours to assemble, mixing sideways pavement, off-grid geometry and—thanks to all printed parts—an uninterrupted build flow that seasoned fans will enjoy. Light-nougat walls, sand-green window frames and peach Art-Nouveau arches capture an unmistakably Parisian mood, while printed windows and a chalkboard sign add polish. Its shallow “bookshelf-depth” footprint looks great from the front but leaves the back open and un-detailed, and the scale floats between minifigure and Architecture, making this a décor piece first and a play set second. Advanced techniques, a vibrant palette, solid price-per-piece value and the absence of stickers work in its favour; on the flip side, the exposed white flex-tube above the main arch, the lack of minifigures and a bare rear façade may leave some builders wanting more for the money. Overall, if you want Paris on a shelf in a single evening’s build, this set delivers; if you expect full interiors or minifig play, look elsewhere.

Box design

Thumb-punch 18+ black box with a sand-green brick stripe along the base and the new Restaurants of the World banner. The front shows the façade on a neutral gradient; the reverse highlights angle shots and printed elements. Premium look matches other adult Icons sets and clearly telegraphs “display model” to non-AFOL gift buyers.

Instruction manual

The square, perfect-bound booklet follows the current 18+ Icons style: matte cover, designer bio, short blurb on the fictional Café Fleur and full-colour, easy-to-follow steps with progress bar. Absence of a sticker sheet keeps the build flow uninterrupted and the high part-count graphics are all pre-printed.

So…

If you’re after an eye-catching, quick-build display set that nails Parisian atmosphere, 10362 delivers strong value. If you need full interiors or minifig scale, keep walking past the pâtisserie.
