About
The build is clean and satisfying. The stem uses a rigid internal “spine” to hold height, the leaves adjust smoothly to shape the volume, and the main bloom has a well-executed stamen that immediately reads as hibiscus. Petals are layered with slight angles to create natural curvature without feeling fragile. Fine tuning is the key here: twist the leaves, open or close the petals, and you’ll quickly find a photogenic profile for shelf or table. As a trade-off, it’s tall and relatively narrow, so very light vases may need glass beads or stones in the base for extra stability. AFOLs will enjoy the hidden connections and the balanced mix of detail and sturdiness.
Box design
Classic 18+ black box with a clean hero shot of the hibiscus in a vase, minimal text and Icons branding. The back highlights a close-up of the bloom, the adjustable leaves, and a small panel with real-flower trivia mirrored from the manual. Internal cardboard keeps the stem and corolla subassemblies snug, and the paper bags align with LEGO’s sustainability shift. Compact, shelf-friendly packaging that presents it as a décor piece rather than a toy.
Instruction manual
Clear manual, short steps, and well-separated sub-assemblies, stem, leaves, and corolla, making it easy to pause and resume. Beyond the instructions, it includes a few facts about the flower (botanical context and quick trivia), adding a touch of “book value” to the experience. In LEGO Builder you get the PDF with zoom and rotation to confirm petal orientation before closing the bloom.
So…

Hibiscus 10372 delivers what you expect from the Botanical Collection: a relaxing build, premium look, and excellent display. It works on its own, and it shines even more in an arrangement with other Botanicals. It is, without a doubt, my favourite Botanical of the year.
