This is one of those NINJAGO mechs that has presence from the very first look. Jay’s Titan Mech isn’t just another blue robot, it has a very strong silhouette, with broad shoulders, long legs, golden details, and an almost samurai-like energy mixed with Jay’s electric identity. The combination of blue, white, gold, and yellow details works really well. It feels elegant, but still aggressive, especially because of the huge dragon blade. The sword gives it that Titan Mech impact, almost like a proper battle centerpiece, and really helps its display presence.
Articulation is also one of the strong points. A set like this needs to be able to hold interesting poses, and here there is enough movement for both play and display. The feet may limit the range of poses a little, but overall it still works very well for a mech of this size.
Another really nice detail is that the mech doesn’t come alone. The small cart with the double crossbow gives the set some conflict and helps create a more complete battle scene. It’s not the main build, of course, but it works well as a complement for the Bone Warriors and keeps the box from feeling like just “mech versus minifigures.”
Overall, this set fits really well within the Titan Mech family. It may not have the same nostalgic weight as Zane’s Titan Mech, or the novelty factor of the newer ones, but it has a very strong visual identity. It clearly feels like Jay’s mech, and you can see that in the colors, weapons, and stance.
Minifigure review
The minifigure selection is very good. The set includes Jay, Nya, Pixal Bot, Bone King, Bone Hunter, and Bone Knight, with Pixal Bot being exclusive to this set. Jay is naturally the main figure and fits perfectly inside the mech’s cockpit. The Core version works well here, especially because the set isn’t tied to a specific season, allowing the focus to stay on the mech and the battle fantasy. Nya is a great inclusion too, because she adds more strength to the ninja side and pairs really well with Jay. Having both of them in the same set makes the box more appealing, especially for anyone who likes the duo or wants more variety on the hero side. On the villain side, the set is very competent. Bone King, Bone Hunter, and Bone Knight give the set a strong enemy presence, with that skeleton warrior aesthetic that works really well in NINJAGO. Bone King, in particular, adds weight to the conflict because he really feels like the leader of the threat. Pixal Bot is a nice little extra. It isn’t a traditional minifigure with the same impact as the others, but since it is exclusive, it becomes quite interesting for collectors.

Jay’s Titan Mech is a very strong set for NINJAGO fans, especially for anyone who enjoys the Titan Mech line. It has an excellent silhouette, a great color combination, huge weapons, solid articulation, and a very complete character lineup. The original €79.99 price may feel a little high, especially compared to some previous mechs, but the package still delivers well: a large Titan Mech, a small enemy build, and a minifigure selection with heroes, villains, and an exclusive Pixal Bot. For me, the real value is in the display presence. It’s a mech that easily stands out on the shelf and represents Jay really well. If you’re collecting the NINJAGO Titan Mechs, this one is essential, because it has its own identity and looks great next to the others.
