About
In hand, this mech impresses immediately with its size and shelf presence. It’s the kind of build that fills a display space and instantly reads as a true “Titan Mech.” The silhouette is strong, the chest and shoulders have real volume, and the wings give it a more dramatic profile, perfect for action poses.
Articulation is good overall, but it’s not flawless. One point that comes up in reviews is that the arms look beefier and more impressive, but that extra mass also limits elbow movement, it doesn’t bend as far as some fans expected, especially compared to newer mechs with double-jointed elbows.
The weapon loadout helps sell the whole package too, you get a large sword and a brick-built shield that can also be repurposed as back wings. It’s a very LEGO solution, adding variety without feeling like a cheap gimmick.

Minifigure review
The minifigure selection is well chosen to give the set a story. You get Lloyd for the cockpit, a villain, Grimfax, and a special anniversary collectible figure displayed on a stand, more of a collector piece than a play-focused minifigure.
The strength here is the balance, you get the essentials for play, hero and villain, plus the collector-focused anniversary extra that gives the set a true “commemorative edition” identity, not just another green mech.

So…

71860 Lloyd’s Titan Mech is a big, impressive set with strong display presence, perfect for NINJAGO fans who love poseable mechs, and the anniversary elements add real collector appeal. If you’re chasing maximum articulation, you may notice some elbow limitations, but as a display centerpiece and a standout NINJAGO release, it’s one of the line’s strongest sets of the year.
