The layout is clean and practical: each character gets a page with images, variants, set callouts, and a brief story summary. The season-by-season structure makes it easy to browse or fact-check quickly. As with any compact encyclopedia, there are trade-offs: some characters and special releases are missing, and long-time fans have noted a few minor inaccuracies. Still, as a snapshot of NINJAGO up to 2021, it’s a solid reference and a great gateway for newer collectors.
Minifigure review
The pack-in Future Nya is the hook. Printing is sharp, the design nods to classic Nya details (including the necklace motif), and it isn’t available in regular sets. Bagged inside the book, it adds real collector value and ties the reference guide to the on-screen character arc nicely.
