About

This set is heavily driven by nostalgia and the visual impact of the real car. The bright orange already does a lot of the work, but LEGO also managed to capture the details that make this Supra so recognizable, like the rear wing, the low and wide proportions, and the chrome wheels.

And I really have to highlight those wheels, because they were a huge surprise. Honestly, I don’t remember seeing this kind of finish on wheels in a Speed Champions set before, and it works so well here. It gives the model a more premium, more special feel, and pushes it even closer to that “movie car” vibe.

The main graphic highlight is Troy Lee’s “Nuclear Gladiator” on the sides, an essential detail that makes this feel not just like “an orange Supra”, but the Supra from the movie. It completely carries the identity of the set. The build follows what you expect from modern Speed Champions: quick, compact, but with enough clever shaping to avoid looking too boxy. It displays really well, especially next to other movie cars or Speed Champions models. And of course, if you grew up with Fast & Furious, it has that instant “yeah, this needs to be on the shelf” effect.

Minifigure review

The Brian O’Conner minifigure is the extra that completes the set. LEGO picked the right look: t-shirt, jeans, and that simple style that fits perfectly with the car and the vibe of the first movie. It’s not an overly complex minifigure, but it’s exactly the character that needed to be here. For collectors, Brian makes a big difference. Without him, this would be a very nice Supra. With him, it becomes a small Fast & Furious scene in Speed Champions form.

The 77260 Toyota Supra MK4 is a very easy Speed Champions set to like, especially if you have any connection to the first Fast & Furious movie. It has a strong color, essential graphic details, chrome wheels, an iconic minifigure, and that movie-car impact that looks great on display. It’s not the most technical or surprising Speed Champions build, but it doesn’t need to be. The value is in the nostalgia, the license, and the fact that we finally have Brian’s orange Supra in LEGO form. For fans of the franchise and JDM cars, this is an easy pickup at the usual price point for the line.
