About
The van looks smooth and seamless outside, including around the seats thanks to newer parts that let minifigures sit comfortably. The rear opens via double doors and there is a side hatch for quick access; instead of exposed pins, the hatch uses ingot tiles as a pull so the body stays flush. The front hood also opens, adding play. You can see a few Technic bits inside the cargo bay, but overall the model remains tidy. Beyond the mini-set tiles, the van features printed graphics of its own, a small Flying Bricks tile and the LEGO logo printed on a yellow tile for the first time. There are four printed tiles referencing recent City sets on a pallet, Monster Truck, Holiday Camper Van, Construction Excavator and Explorer Train. They work great as store merchandise, though one non-City theme would have added variety.
Minifigure review
You get two minifigures sharing the same torso. The print is not new, it previously appeared in 21353 and 40757. The dark-blue bodywarmer over a sand green sweater looks good, but the bright light blue legs clash next to the dark tan ones. The hairpieces are generic in a good “updated classic” way. The heads are common, with the female sporting an earpiece.

So…

Recommended. It is arguably the cleanest LEGO van to date, brings life to any LEGO Store MOC and includes great printed tiles for scenery. If you collect LEGO-brand vehicles or want a polished utility for your city, The LEGO Van is an easy yes and I LOVE IT!
