This is one of those sets that already grabs your attention just from the concept alone. Instead of getting one large Titan Mech, LEGO decided to release a box with two complete mechs, one for Kai and one for Nya. That immediately changes the feel of the set, because it doesn’t seem like one main build with a small extra, it feels like a proper duel between two models with the same level of importance. Visually, the two mechs work really well side by side. Kai’s mech brings that more aggressive, fiery energy, while Nya’s mech feels more elegant, fluid, and cooler in tone. The color difference helps separate their personalities, but both still share the same visual language, making them feel like they truly belong to the same concept.
Articulation is one of the strongest points here. The movement in the head, neck, shoulders, legs, knees, and ankles makes a big difference in a set like this. A Titan Mech needs to pose well, because if it feels too stiff, it loses half of its impact. Here, the ability to create dynamic poses, especially with the stand, makes the set much more interesting for display.
Another really cool detail is the ability to swap weapons and arms between the two mechs. It’s not a super complex feature, but it adds an extra layer of customization and play. For anyone who likes adjusting models, changing poses, or even creating small variations, this is definitely a positive point. The only thing that may divide opinions is the price. This is a large set, with 1,707 pieces and two Titan-scale mechs, but only 3 minifigures. For collectors who buy NINJAGO mostly for the figures, that may feel a bit light. But here, the focus is clearly on the builds. The value is in the two mechs, the scale, the presence, and the display potential. Another really cool detail in this set is the exclusive poster included in the box. It doesn’t change the build itself, of course, but it adds that extra collector touch, which is always nice, especially in a set with this much presence. For anyone who enjoys displaying not just the models, but also NINJAGO-related artwork, it’s a pretty interesting bonus.
Minifigure review
The set includes 3 minifigures: Kai, Nya, and an Oni Warrior. Kai and Nya come in pilot suits, designed to fit inside the cockpits of their respective mechs. There is also a curious detail: you can swap Kai and Nya’s faces to turn them into new characters, Jin and Mira. That gives the figures a little extra versatility and connects the set more directly to the Duskfall storyline, but I still feel that, for a set of this size, one or two extra minifigures would have helped a lot. A second enemy, or even an additional exclusive figure, would have made the lineup feel more balanced. Still, the Oni Warrior is a good inclusion because it gives the box an immediate conflict. You get two heroes, two giant mechs, and one villain to justify the battle. Simple, direct, and functional.
For collectors, the minifigure lineup is not the biggest selling point of the set. Here, what really sells the box are the mechs. The figures do their job, but they don’t hit as hard as the visual impact of the two Titans.

The Twin Titan Mechs is a very strong NINJAGO set for anyone who loves big mechs and display pieces. The idea of bringing two Titan Mechs in the same box is excellent, and the final result has presence, scale, and a lot of personality. It’s not the ideal set for anyone looking for a large minifigure selection, because 3 figures in a set this size feels a little light. But if your focus is on big builds, poseability, and shelf impact, this set delivers really well. The real value is in the concept: Kai and Nya with two Titan Mechs, both with good articulation, customization options, and a stand for more dynamic poses. For fans of NINJAGO Legends, mechs, or more epic display setups, this is one of those sets that can easily become a centerpiece in the collection.
