Minifigure review

The single driver minifigure (sc126) sports a dark-blue race suit with cyan flashes and simplified Visa and Cash App branding. A new dual-moulded F1 helmet printed in matching blue tops a confident, single-sided head, and LEGO includes a black hairpiece for podium poses. It complements the car’s colours nicely, but minimal sponsor detail and the absence of pit-lane accessories keep it squarely as cockpit décor rather than a collectors’ star.

About the

set

The car goes together in roughly 40 minutes through five numbered bags. A compact Technic spine locks in wishbone front suspension before System bricks sculpt the slender nose, barge-boards and sweeping engine-cover fin. Printed Pirelli slicks widen the stance, while a hinged halo and removable nose let you seat the driver or stage pit-stop swaps. Sponsor colour blocking is crisp, but most badges arrive by sticker. Finished, the model measures about 20 cm long and looks striking from shelf height; only a few single-stud panels are prone to popping off during energetic desk racing.

Box design

2025 packaging swaps the old black background for white. Here a diagonal navy-to-cyan gradient echoes the car’s livery; a hero render powers across the front, and the reverse highlights cockpit access, slick-tyre prints and a real-car side-by-side. The slim, tab-sealed box slots neatly beside the nine companion F1 sets and shouts “collect me” on a store peg.

Instruction manual

The 84-page stapled booklet follows the 2025 Speed Champions template: light-grey margins, charcoal build area and clear colour blocking. A two-page intro recaps the reborn RB team and the design cues of the VCARB 01, while a QR code links to the LEGO Builder app for 3-D step rotation. Sticker placements are shown 1:1, so even the tiny Visa decals line up without guesswork.

Stickers

You’ll tackle a medium sheet of roughly thirty decals—Visa, Cash App, RB and assorted tech partners. They’re fiddly on the curved side-pods and nose, but without them the VCARB 01 looks bare; only the tyre sidewalls and two dark-blue wedges come printed.

So…

Quick to build, bold on display and finally fitted with wider printed slicks, 77246 nails the new RB team’s colours and aero lines. If a sticker marathon and a few fragile plates don’t scare you, it’s a smart, good-value pickup for modern-F1 or Speed Champions fans eager to round out the 2025 grid.
