Minifigure review

Zane (njo922) appears shirtless, exposing detailed cyber-mechanical printing and his signature titanium “heart.” Wyldfyre (njo923) arrives in her Season 2 robes—minus shoulder armour but with a translucent Prismatic Blade—while insectoid villain Drix (njo924) brings ornate red-and-gold torso printing and mantis-style sickle weapons. All three figures were exclusive at launch, and for a €10 set the line-up is exceptional.

About the

set

Despite the tiny part count, the mech feels purposeful. Articulated shoulders, wrists and a 360-degree waist give it real posing range, while straight, stud-built limbs avoid the static “one-piece” look of older pocket mechs. Trans-light-blue shoulder shards and gold-leafed katana handles add a splash of style to a colour scheme that mixes white, medium-azure and black—unusual for an ice ninja but visually coherent. The only functional miss is the lack of storage clips for the twin swords, forcing awkward hip mounting.

Box design

LEGO has squeezed the set into a 14.1 × 12.2 × 4.6 cm box, roughly the size of a paperback. Collectors will welcome the reduced storage footprint—and shippers the lower volume—though one Brickset commenter notes that the downsizing makes the model seem larger on the front than it really is.

So…

Zane’s Battle Suit Mech is honest value: three characterful figs, a poseable mech and a brisk ten-minute build for the price of a fast-food meal. Colour quirks and sword storage aside, it’s hard to fault. What a great set, with amazing and detailed minifigures for a afordable price.
