Grimtak is the main focus of the build. It’s not a huge creature, but it has great presence for its size. The low stance, four legs, tail, and wings give it a proper “battle beast” look, more wild creature than classic dragon. And that’s pretty cool, because NINJAGO already has plenty of traditional dragons, so here LEGO tried something with a slightly different identity.

The articulation works well for both play and display. The wings move, the tail looks really good visually, and the body has enough volume to avoid feeling like a tiny build with random pieces attached. These details give the creature a lot more life.

The best part is that the set doesn’t try to do too much. It’s compact, direct, and has a clear purpose, creating a quick battle between the ninja and the villains. For a small box, you get an interesting creature and three strong minifigures, so the value is very well balanced.
