Certified Store
The LEGO Certified Store at NorteShopping, opened in October 2023, is the first certified LEGO store in Northern Portugal — and a true paradise for fans of all ages. Although it’s run by a licensed partner and not directly by LEGO, it delivers a premium experience: exclusive sets, a Pick a Brick wall where you can grab individual pieces, and a Build a Minifigure station to create your own custom minifigs. You’ll also find special promotions (Gifts With Purchase) and recent launches, making it a great spot for anyone hunting for new sets. Just note that stock can be limited, and they don’t accept LEGO Insiders points or returns from LEGO.com — but the store makes up for it with great service and a vibrant, fun atmosphere.
Since it’s the store in my hometown — Porto! — I visit it way too often (haha). It’s part of my routine every time I go to NorteShopping. One of the most memorable things there is an incredible custom MOC of a Francesinha (a traditional Porto dish), so realistic it actually makes you hungry. It’s a brilliant and very local touch. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. Honestly, I think they already know I’m going to ask about the current Pick a Brick wall selection — I ask every time. And yes, they often have GWP offers, which is awesome! Even though the stock can be a bit limited, I still manage to score some great extras every now and then.
It’s a store I never skip — even if I just stop by for a quick look… and somehow end up walking out with another yellow bag.
